Disney World ECV Rentals 2026: Park Prices, Locations and Rules

By Marie Okafor, Accessibility Travel Specialist · Updated November 2025

Quick answer

Walt Disney World rents Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs for $65 per day plus a $20 refundable deposit in 2026. The rental is per park, per day, cannot leave the property it was rented at, and must be returned before closing. A delivered scooter from Mobility Rentals Florida is $45 per day or $225 per week, stays with you at the resort, on Disney buses and at dinner, and includes free delivery inside the Disney area.

Key facts

  • Disney in-park ECV: $65/day plus $20 refundable deposit, per park, per day
  • Disney Springs ECV: $65/day plus a $100 refundable deposit
  • Length-of-stay ECV rental at a single Disney park: $60/day when paid up front
  • In-park ECVs are first come, first served — no advance reservations
  • Delivered alternative: $45/day, $120 for 3 days, $225 for 7 days, free Disney-area delivery
  • Renters must be 18+ for an ECV at Disney and at Mobility Rentals Florida

Where Disney World rents ECVs

Disney operates its own ECV counters near the main entrance of each theme park and at two locations in Disney Springs. Every counter is inside the gates, so you must walk or wheel from parking or transport to the entrance first.

Walt Disney World ECV rental locations and 2026 pricing
LocationRental deskDaily rateDeposit
Magic KingdomStroller Shop, right of the main entrance$65$20 refundable
EPCOTInside the main entrance, left side$65$20 refundable
Hollywood StudiosOscar's Super Service, inside the entrance$65$20 refundable
Animal KingdomGarden Gate Gifts, inside the entrance$65$20 refundable
Disney SpringsSundries shops, Marketplace and Town Center$65$100 refundable

Disney Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts do not rent ECVs. Resort guests who want a scooter at the hotel must use an outside supplier such as Mobility Rentals Florida, Gold Mobility Scooters, ScooterBug or Buena Vista Scooters.

Disney ECV rules you need to know before you pay

  • One ECV per rental; the renter must be 18 or older and present photo ID
  • The vehicle may not leave the park or shopping district where it was rented
  • ECVs are not permitted on Disney buses, monorails, the Skyliner or boats
  • Rentals are first come, first served — Disney takes no advance ECV reservations
  • Weight capacity on the standard Disney ECV is 450 lb
  • Length-of-stay rental at $60/day is only valid at one park for consecutive days
  • The unit must be returned before the park closes or the deposit is forfeited

The practical consequence is simple: a park-hopping day means renting twice, and after park close you are walking. On peak dates — Christmas week, Easter, Jersey week, Marathon Weekend — Disney's in-park inventory routinely sells out before noon.

In-park ECV vs delivered scooter: a real cost comparison

Five-day Walt Disney World trip, one adult rider
OptionRate5-day totalAvailable outside the park?
Disney in-park ECV (one park per day)$65/day + deposit$325No
Disney in-park ECV with park hopping$65 per park$455+No
Disney Springs ECV$65/day$325No
Mobility Rentals Florida delivered$45/day$195Yes — resort, buses, dining, outlets

A delivered scooter also removes the morning queue at the rental counter and the risk of arriving to a sold-out desk. Delivery and collection inside Orlando and the Disney and Universal areas is free; outside those zones the fee is $25 each way.
