Boarding
How Skyliner boarding works with a scooter
- Tell the cast member at the queue entrance that you are riding a mobility device.
- You are directed to the accessible load area, separate from the walk-on line.
- The gondola is slowed or fully stopped for boarding — you never board a moving cabin.
- Drive straight in, power off and set the brake for the ride.
- At the destination the cabin is stopped again for you to roll off.

The Skyliner does not run in lightning or high winds, which are common on Orlando summer afternoons. Buses replace it, and buses take only two mobility devices at a time — allow an extra 20 minutes on stormy days.
Cabins are not air conditioned; they are ventilated. Bring water and keep the scooter charged, because the walk from the station to your room can be several hundred feet.
